Abstract

This paper is concerned with the numerical treatment of quasistatic viscopalstic flow problems and of equilibrium problems in finite elasticity, set on axisymmetric configurations. The proposed treatment is based on a functional splitting of both problems by introducing mixed type formulations and on the numerical solution of the resulting equations by augmented Lagrangian techniques.
