Abstract
This paper reviews design considerations along with pertinent measurement results about microcrystalline silicon (μc-Si) thin-film transistor (TFT) drive circuits for active matrix displays and follows from work presented earlier (A. Nathan et al., 2002), (A. Nathan et al., 2003). Firstly, we describe the good results obtained in term of stability of electrical characteristics of μSi-TFT. Then we present experimental results for simple logical circuits like inverter. At last, the results obtained for row driver with no shift compensation will be discussed.
