N2 - While over-The-Top video distribution is now widely deployed, it still suffers from much higher latencies than traditional broadcast, typically from a few seconds up to half a minute. In this paper, we demonstrate a novel DASH system with latency close to broadcast channels, and show how such a system can be used to enable combined broadcast and broadband services while keeping the client buffering requirements on the broadcast link low.
