Abstract

System design exploration is a fundamental need with the increase in system complexity. Dramatic complexity increase in system design is posing increasing challenges for a system engineering under time and resources constraints. Stringent Time to market (T.T.M.) and decreasing budgets are pushing to reconsider the usual process in system engineering in order to reduce costs and system architecture design time. System architecture design have been proved to be NP-Hard and the direct consequence is that system architecture design should be considered as an optimization problem.
