abstract = "In this paper a Non-Uniform Sampling (NUS) technique for controlling Analog-to-Digital Conversion (ADC) in a multistandard Radio receiver is proposed. In this context of wide band radio signals, the NUS-based ADC offers the advantages of relaxing antialiasing filter constraints and decreasing the {"}mean{"} of the sampling frequency. This leads to ADC power consumption reduction. The improvement given by this concept is shown through the design of WiMax/WiFi radio receiver where NUS performances are enhanced by choosing the Cubic Spline interpolation for digital reconstruction filter. Simulation results show that designed receiver meets ADC dynamic ranges for WiMax/WiFi with 12-bit quantizer and 8-quantization time factor.",
