Abstract

We present an investigation of supercontinuum, third and fifth harmonics generation in transparent dielectrics with few optical-cycle pulses at 2 μm, revealing a negligible role of higher order nonlinearities for intensities up to 15 TW/cm<sup>2</sup>.
