Nonlinear Tolerant Sphere Shaping with Dispersion-Aware Sequence Selection

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

Energy dispersion index of dispersed sequences (DEDI) with sequence selection demonstrates nonlinear shaping gains of 0.3 and 0.03 bits/4D-symbol over single-span and multi-span links respectively against conventional sphere shaping.
