Abstract

The purpose of this work is to couple different numerical models for the calculation of high speed external flows. The proposed coupling is achieved by the boundary conditions, which impose viscous fluxes and friction forces on the body for the calculation of the global external flow and which impose Dirichlet type boundary conditions on the interface for the local model.
