Abstract

The detection of coherence fringes is an interesting way to study phase matching and in particular the specific contribution of each quantum path. The importance of relevant parameters such as coherence and absoprtion lengths on the fringe contrast is shown. It is demonstrated how loose focusing conditions are appropriate for the observation of coherence fringes.
