Optical networks throughput enhancement via TCP Stop-and-Wait on hybrid switches

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

We report on possible 50% throughput increase in Optical Packet Switching (OPS) data-center networks by replacing all-optical switches with optical switches with shared electronic buffers further enhanced with TCP Stop-and-Wait algorithms.
