abstract = "In order to introduce the Particle filter techniques in the Passive Radar Detection and tracking, we present in this correspondence a comparison between classical technique of tracking that uses a maxima search in the Range/Doppler gridspace, and then estimates the target position using an extended Kalman filter and a proposed Particle filter that uses directly the correlation output. The passive radar receives the signals of FM stations that propagate and reflect on a manoeuvring target.",
