Performance analysis of a hybrid opto-electronic packet switch using WDM technology

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

We investigate the performance of a hybrid optoelectronic switch where the connected azimuths support WDM channels, taking into account different packet classes. A compromise is discussed between the energy savings and the performance improvement given by using shared wavelength converters.
