Perturbative renormalization of QED via flow equations

Abstract

We prove the perturbative renormalizability of euclidean QED4 with a small photon mass in the framework of effective lagrangians due to Wilson and Polchinski. In particular we show that the QED Ward identities, which become violated by our momentum space regularization at intermediate stages, are restored in the renormalized theory.
