Piecewise affine neural networks and nonlinear control: Stability results

Abstract

The stability properties of artificial neural networks, piecewise affine perceptrons (PAP), tuned to control is presented. They have properties that can be used to initialize them to control a given nonlinear system. The stability results are obtained by constructing piecewise quadratic Lyapunov functions.
