Polarimetric information for pre-cancer detection from uterine cervix specimens

Abstract

The detection performance of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CIN2-3 (pre-cancer conditions) is reported from backscattering polarimetric measurements in the visible wavelength range. The detection for non-linear and linear compressions of the full Mueller matrix is investigated.
