Abstract
A new method based on electroless copper plating for preparing Cu catalyst on activated carbons for removal of NO was carried out in a very short reaction time, compared with the impregnation or ion-exchange method. Some micropores of activated carbons were partially blocked by copper metal with increasing the plating times. Nonetheless, the activated carbons were found to have great potential as adsorption materials for removal of NO in the presence of O2.
