Abstract
We study the thickness of the film entrained on a fibre quickly withdrawn out of a liquid bath. Important deviations from the Landau-Levich law are observed. Two different regimes are successively found and discussed. The fist one is explained by considering inertia, and the second one is shown to be a boundary layer effect.
