Abstract

A set of quantal and classical simulations for one-dimensional model potentials were performed to study the features of the above-threshold ionization (ATI) spectra. The numerical results of the ATI spectra, deduced from time-dependent Schrödinger equation (TDSE) studies, were interpreted using Floquet and classical trajectory analyses. Results confirmed the role of multiphoton resonances in the enhancements found in the ATI at intensities ≈ 1014 Wcm-2 for a Ti:sapphire laser.
