Semi-monolithic optical parametric oscillator: Infrared pulsed single-longitudinal-mode operation

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

A compact nanosecond optical parametric oscillator which led to single-longitudnal-mode output from a semi-monolithic linear dual cavity doubly resonant optical parametric oscillators was described. A passively Q-switched Nd:YAG laser delivered single-frequency output pump pulses at a 12.5 kHz repetition rate. Output energy of 1 μJ was obtained in the 3.8 μ range and stable single-longitudnal-mode output was maintained over several minutes without electronic feedback.
