Abstract
The hydrological exchanges between the earth and the atmosphere simulated by a general circulation model are probably dependent on the inhomogeneities inside a grid box of the model. Some parameterizations, including statistical distribution of rainfall or of hydraulic conditions, have been developed. We discuss the sensitivity of our LMD model to a parameterization of these inhomogeneities. -Authors
