N2 - The printed dipoles are studied analytically and the simple closed-form formulas of the real and imaginary impedance are presented. The formulas explain the printed dipole impedance as a function of the thickness and the permitivity of substrate. The results of this simple formulation show a good agreement with the numerical and experimental ones.
