Abstract

The chapter summarizes the development in the field of six-membered rings with one phosphorus atom in the period between 2008 and 2018. In this context, theoretical, structural, thermodynamic, and reactivity aspects of aromatic and non-aromatic phosphorus-based heterocycles are covered and discussed.
