Stabilization of atoms in ultra-intense laser pulses: a classical model

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Several of these recent studies are based on numerical simulations performed for a simplified 1-dimension model, proposed a few years ago. Within this framework, a one-electron atomic system is modelled through the use of a ″soft Coulomb potential ″ of the general form.
