Statistical models of wideband and UWB omni-directional antennas based on a parametric modelling

Abstract

A statistical model of a class of UWB bicone type antennas based on a parametric modelling - combining Singularity Expansion Method (SEM) and Sperical Modes Expansion Model (SMEM) - is proposed. The statistics of the parameters of the model are extracted from a statistic sample obtained with "random" parametric electromagnetic simulations.
