Abstract

The stochastic resonances in an optical two-order parameter vectorial system such as vectorial lasers were investigated. The optical system exhibited two orthogonal polarization states and the associated order parameters were competing with an adjustable length. The optical noise and optical modulation were assumed to be vectorial in nature. Faraday noise and quantum noise such as external spontaneous emission were found to affect incoherent rotational tunneling in such systems.
