Abstract
Charge carrier mobility has been determined in field-effect transistors fabricated from conjugated thiophene oligomers and some of their I or I alkylated derivatives. The results allow to analyze the contributions of conjugation length, interchain spacing and long range order in the charge transport in conjugated materials.
