Abstract
We complete the study of the Cauchy problem formed by Maxwell's equations coupled with the Landau-Lifschitz law for ferromagnetic materials, by an existence and uniqueness result of strong solutions in two-dimensional case. We consider a simplified version of the Landau-Lifschitz law by neglecting the exchange terms. However, we treat the inhomogeneous case.
