Abstract
We consider two- and three-dimensional, unsteady, compressible flows in the low Mach number regime. Equivalance results between the vorticity-velocity and the primitive variable formulations of the Navier-Stokes equations are proven. We also analyze formally the integral constraints for the velocity in such systems. There is an abridged English version.
