Abstract

The synchronization of two coupled CO2 lasers through bursting oscillations was studied by which a low pump pulsating laser was coupled to a high pump oscillating laser through a common saturable absorber (LCSA). The low frequency laser delivered sharp pulses and the high frequency laser delivered weakly modulated radiations. Synchronization appeared to a state that exhibit bursting oscillations for one laser and pulses for the other.
