Abstract

An understanding of the doping process in polythiophene is a step closer with the synthesis and characterization of tetradecylduodecithiophene (see figure), the longest oligomer of thiophene so far isolated, which is soluble and acts as an effectife model for the polymer. (Figure Presented.)
