Synthesis of GNS/TiO2 electrodes through sol-gel method and their electrochemical analysis for capacitors

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

We fabricated titanium dioxide (TiO2)/graphene nanosheet (GNS) composites by a facile one-step synthesis method using a sol-gel process. We analyzed morphological properties of the synthesized composites using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). We confirmed that TiO2 were well anchored on the interlayer of the graphene nanosheets, resulting the formation of hybrid composites. We also examined electrochemical performances of the composites with cyclic voltammetry (CV). The composites showed the higher capacitance value in compared to their individual components.
