Abstract

A DNA molecule model is investigated based on the instantaneous normal modes corresponding to radial hydrogen bonds vibrations, torsion, and axial compression fluctuations. Normal modes have a finite and frequency damping width. The Gibbs average resolvent, the average dispersion relation, density of modes, and the coherence length are analyzed.
