Thermopower and GMR of a single Co/Cu multilayer nanowire

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

The magnetoresistance and the magnetothermopower (MTP) of copper/cobalt multilayer nanowires were measured from room temperature down to 70 K. The nanostructures were elaborated by means of electrochemical deposition in ion-tracked etched polycarbonate membranes. The usual giant magnetoresistance (GMR) ratio on these structures ranges from 10 to 20 %.
