Abstract

In (Pirio and Trépreau, Int Math Res Not IMRN, doi:10.1093/imrn/rnu066, 2014), it has been proved that for (Formula presented.) and (Formula presented.) , a d-web of t ype (r, n) with maximal rank is algebraizable in the classical sense, except maybe when (Formula presented.) and (Formula presented.). In the present paper, one considers this particular case. Under these hypotheses on n and d, one constructs some examples of ‘exceptional algebraic webs’: these are generalized algebraic webs of maximal rank that are not algebraizable in the classical sense.
