Ultrafast time resolved spectroscopy of protons in water: An experimental study

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

We present here the first measurement of the femtosecond dynamics of protons in liquid water [Eigen-type H3O+(H 2O)3] by vibrational time resolved spectroscopy. The proton relaxation occurs in less than 200 fs.
