Urbanization of information systems: An outdated method?

Abstract

The urbanization of Information Systems has been a widely employed method for years. But changes in the organization of enterprises are currently challenging it. Moreover, some of its original assumptions derived from the urbanization of cities are also questioned. In this context, this article exposes how the urbanization can be renewed by inspiring from the new city planning trends, and move from a function-based urbanization to a flow-based urbanization.
