Abstract

During TRAC-98 experiment, a C-band Doppler radar and a wind profiler triangle were operated in order to measure the large-scale vertical velocity and horizontal divergence. The wind profiler triangle showed the presence of a weak mesoscale subsidence which nearly occupied the whole Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) during all the day.
