Abstract

Magnetoresistance of single contacted Co nanowires filled with nanoparticles are measured. The nanoparticles are cobalt encapsulated by carbon shells (about 5 nm diameter) obtained by arc discharge technique. The particles are put into the nanopores (diameter about 20 nm) of track etched membrane templates. The pores are filled with electrolytic deposition.
