Abstract
Magnetoresistance of single contacted Co nanowires filled with nanoparticles was measured. The nanoparticles used were cobalt encapsulated by carbon shells obtained by discharge technique. A magnetoresistance hysteresis loop, measured at room temperature and for one micro-A current, was also studied. The results indicate that the magnetoresistance so measured is more than 600%.
