Profil personnel

Personal profile

He has been a Monge Professor at the CMLS (École Polytechnique) since September 2023. His research focuses primarily on random matrix theory.

He completed his PhD at the Courant Institute of NYU, under the supervision of Paul Bourgade.

His early work was recognized with the Wilhelm T. Magnus Award in 2019.

In 2024, he received the Shiing-Shen Chern Young Faculty Award from the École Polytechnique Foundation.

Intérêts de la recherche

Probabilist, Guillaume Dubach studies the distribution of eigenvalues and eigenvectors, within the framework of integrable models of random matrices. He is particularly dedicated to the study of non-Hermitian matrices, that is to say without particular symmetry, in connection with their applications to physics, theoretical ecology or even neural networks. In particular, he intends to continue his work on low-rank perturbations of random matrices, which give rise to numerous interactions with physicists working on the theory of quantum dispersion.
