Résumé

A hybrid computational method for the calculation of flow noise is presented: Large Eddy Simulation (LES) for the flow and Linearized Euler Equations (LEE) for the acoustic propagation. The source term that is introduced in the LEE is the one previously defined in the SNGR (Stochastic Noise Generation and Radiation) model. But instead of calculating this source term by means of a stochastic simulation of the fluctuating turbulent velocity field, it is directly calculated using the unsteady turbulent field given by the LES computations. This approach is applied to the case of a diaphragm in a duct. Two computations for two different upstream mean velocities are carried out. Source terms calculated on the LES grid are projected on the acoustic grid. The results are in good agreement with experimental ones.
