Résumé
The Nernst effect in NbSe2 was examined. A large negative Nernst coefficient, persisting at temperatures well above Tc=7.2 K, was found in this metal. Comparing the evolution of Nernst and Hall coefficients, it was observed that the maximum in the Nernst signal occurs when the contribution of holelike and electronlike carriers to the Hall conductivity cancel out.
