Aqueous suspensions of submicronic latex particles, from carboxylic-or sulphonic-derivatized polystyrene, have been homogeneously coated with thin films of an organic conducting polymer (polypyrrole). The electrical conductivity, measured on pressed pellets obtained after evaporating the solution, can be varied over a large range and reaches as high as 0. 25 S cm** minus **1.
