Résumé

Current research efforts have led to a holistic approach where CAD, mesh and solver are considered together. New methodologies derived for the generation of models and meshes are described, which contribute to increasing the flexibility, applicability and efficiency of a finite volume solver such as Code-Saturne in the context of thermal-hydraulic applications. As part of the work in-progress which is described, the validity and applicability of tetrahedral meshes which are the most general for industrial applications, is also examined in the context of turbulence modelling, accuracy and robustness.
