Résumé
Marco Carbone, IT University of Copenhagen honored the guest editor, Mogen Nielsen on his 60th birthday for his high scientific standards and his long association with the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science make Theoretical Computer Science (TCS). Mogens has had a huge influence in bringing rigorous thinking into the informative design process and was one of the most noticeable among this new brand of students. Mogens is regarded as the godfather of ICE-TCS and has served as a member of the advisory board for ICE-TCS, being always responsive and willing to share his experience and vision as well as his scientific and political acumen. Mogens teaches a course on Theory of Computation but has moved to the Faculty of Science to direct its joint Ph.D. program. The author presented a great debt of gratitude to Mogen for his service in the field by being a great colleague, teacher, friend and director.
