Résumé

Interactions of methane and methanol with various ionic liquids in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid and/or Pt-based catalysts are investigated both experimentally and theoretically. As preliminary efforts of developing the low-temperature and highselectivity CH4-to-CH3OH homogeneously catalyzed conversion system, solubility and stability between the oxidant (H2SO4), the catalyst ((bpym)PtCl2) and the media (ammonium, phosphonium, imidazolium, and pyridinium based ionic liquids) have been systematically studied. In addition to those commercially available ionic liquids, a series of new media with modified cations are designed and synthesized, showing improved stability in strong acid. Fundamentals of the interaction mechanisms are further understood using molecular simulation techniques at the atomic level.
