Résumé
A modular microdevice allowing non-invasive control of endothelial cells (EC) shape was developed. The device provides an excellent tool for studying how EC shape may regulate EC functions under static culture conditions and for investigating the effect of cell shape on EC responsiveness to shear stress. The results indicate that elongated ECs may function differently from cuboidal cells.
