abstract = "This document reports on my work since I joined the research school at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in June 2015. The purpose of this work is to improve the current approaches and tools for model transformation/synchronization developed at the System Analysis and Modeling group, so that they perform well for the rich languages used for modeling complex industrial systems. For this, we propose new strategies exploiting meta-model cardinality constraints and model statistics to improve performances when matching complex patterns. We also plan to develop new concepts for improving the usability of the Triple Graph Grammars (TGG) language in order to ease the specification of model transformations.",
