abstract = "This paper presents an experimental and computational study of non-equilibrium plasma decay. The work is concerned with decay of air plasma at low and high temperatures. In the work air plasma was produced by high-voltage nanosecond discharge. Measurements of electron concentration were performed by method of microwave interferometry. At high temperatures (700-800 K) the measurements were carried out behind a shock wave. The electron concentration after nanosecond discharge amounts approximately 5·1013 cm-3, relaxation halftime of air plasma amounts approximately 0.5 μs To interpret results calculations were performed by a OD kinetic model. The experimental and computational data agree with each other.",
