Résumé
More and more complex modules integrate electronics, optoelectronical components, optical components within a single system. This points out a need for suitable computer aided design (CAD) tools, able to simulate constraints due to different domains (electronics, optics, thermics, mechanics), together with their interactions. The SHAMAN project is an RMNT project (Réseau pour les Micro et NanoTechnologies) which uses the capabilities of the multidisciplinary language VHDL-AMS to develop a library of models which will allow to simulate MOEMS (Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical Systems) within a multi-constraint environment. Taking simultaneously into account all effects impairing the system performances will make design and optimization easier, and help to anticipate limitations. Since the library of models will be based on a standard, it will be possible to implement it in any VHDL-AMS simulator.
